General Director of PV Gas Duong Manh Son attends Gastech 2019

PV GAS General Director had a talk with representatives of the US Department of Energy

Gastech 2019 had participation of 3,500 delegates, and attracted more than 35,000 visitors from over 100 countries. Activities at Gastech included conferences and exhibitions with 700 exhibition galleries. Especially, national and multinational oil and gas corporations, auxiliary companies, EPC contractors, oil and gas exploration companies, service companies, and copyright technology, shipbuilding, industrial companies held bilateral talks to exchange, discuss opinions, seek cooperation opportunities and increase values of the global energy chain.

Talks and meetings for the development of Vietnamese LNG market in the future

At the event, PV GAS General Director Duong Manh Son had a talk with Ms. Anne M. Driscoll - Senior Deputy Assistant in charge of industry and energy under the US Department of Commerce. The General Director of PV GAS discussed issues related to the LNG Son My project that the two governments are interested in, and expected to keep receiving attention and support from the US Government in the subsequent stages of the project. Ms. Anne M. Driscoll shared the same views with issues raised by PV GAS at the meeting and agreed to organize specific working sessions with PV GAS soon.

In the framework of Gastech, the PV GAS working delegation also had bilateral meetings with high-ranking leaders of leading corporations in the field of LNG such as Sempra, Cheniere, Mitsui, and Shell, opening up many potential cooperation in the future for the Vietnamese LNG market.
